Operations Manager

Operations Manager drives project execution, ensure smooth product roll-out, and optimize day-to-day business operations to carrying out high-priority initiatives. You will be responsible for improving the operational scalability of the company's business models through innovation, automation, re-engineered process and new technologies. This position will work closely with User Experience, Project Management, Product and Marketing to identify develop, test and optimize business processes and new ideas / products. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, an innovative thinker and thrives in a fast paced, ever changing environment.

What you will do

  • Drive execution of projects and oversee new product roll-outs. Independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources and delivering results in challenging situations. Develop operational expertise on processes and activities, ensuring that best practice is shared within the network.

  • Support all channels of customer interaction and general customer service/troubleshooting. Tackle complex problems that affect customers and work to resolve them with innovative solutions. You must be comfortable with solving problems through technology as you are through operational excellence, and know when to employ the right tactic.

  • Proactively identify places to streamline and improve operations and help improve or innovate new processes by designing novel approaches that enhance customer experience and organizational efficiency

  • Monitor KPIs as well as service level agreements for customers and relevant stakeholders

  • Responsible for assuring the compliance and adherence with the various policies and standards related to operations, security, and processes. Liaise with key stakeholders such as auditors, regulators as a Subject Matter Expert in all areas related to Operations and Customer Services.
     

Must-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree Required

  • 3+ years of experience in strategic planning and operations process that involves customer services

  • Top-notch communication and presentation skills

  • Self-starter and ability to own projects from initial question development to rollout

  • Open-mindedness and willingness to play a wide-variety of roles to get the job done
     

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior financial services experience, particularly in consumer lending

  • Previous entrepreneurial / product management / business strategy experience
